Judith Hall, Founder

My love affair with baking began at eight years old with a Betty Crocker children's cookbook I begged my parents for at a school book fair—I baked every single recipe inside! That spark ignited a lifelong passion, from novelty-shaped celebration cakes as a teenager to owning two restaurants where I served as pastry chef.

Baking was my sanctuary—it grounded me while allowing me to create something delicious that brought others joy.

But life had other plans. After my first autoimmune diagnosis in 2008, gluten problems emerged, forcing me to reinvent every beloved recipe.

When my health continued to decline, I became a Certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, finally uncovering my celiac diagnosis. Then came the real blow in 2017: egg and almond allergies for me; dairy and gluten allergies for my daughter.  Suddenly, baking's structural backbones—eggs and gluten—were off limits. I stopped baking entirely out of defeat.

Everything changed when my daughter discovered a gluten-free vegan bakery in a neighboring city and surprised me with their treats, reigniting hope. My children became determined detectives, mastering flourless, butter-less, eggless baking until my daughter said, "Mom, there are people like us in our own city who NEED these treats too. We should start a bakery!"

That moment birthed our vision: to bring luxurious joy to those left in the shadows by food allergies. We create inclusivity in a world built on exclusion, crafting treats that dazzle both eye and palate. Every ingredient is carefully sourced and vetted, every detail wrapped with loving care—because we know what it feels like to be left out.

We're not just baking. We're ensuring every customer feels seen, understood, and celebrated.
